QUALIFICATIONS
TO BECOME MEMBER
OF TSS SECURITY STRIKE TEAM
* You must be an American citizen in good standing, Proof required.
* State certified armed security officer. (FBI, State and local criminal background check)
* Trained by APPS
* Employed by Tennessee Security Services LLC
* Team Player
* Pass a drug test
* You must always show good integrity and ethics on and off duty.
* Neat and clean appearance when ever you are on duty. (Follows uniform regulations)
* Available 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
TSS will pay for training you do not have if you are accepted as a Strike Team Leader
Training (WEAPONS)
* Trained and certified with state approved firearms only. APPS
* Advanced firearm training to include (night firing, hostage confrontation, firing under
stress) Firing under stress is firing on the range while being sprayed by chemical spray.
Certified. APPS
* Shotgun trained and certified. APPS
* Trained and certified in Chemical Sprays (you must experience being sprayed) APPS
* Trained and certified with taser and stungun. (You must experience being tasered)
* Trained and certified with baton and nightstick. APPS
* Martial arts pressure point training. (You must experience pain compliance in class)
Bushido Dojo school of Karate.
* Arrest approaches and take downs. (Handcuff use) APPS
* You will report and practice on the firing range monthly. (Range supervisor will confirm) 12 times a year APPS
OTHER REQUIRED TRAINING
* Attend anti-terrorist and gang training. (APPS)
* Body guard protection (celebrity protection)
* First aid training (by certified trainer)
* Sensitivity training.
* Understanding of verbal compliance with suspects
* Report writing (APPS)
* Dealing with the news media
As you can see the above requirements are intended to provide one of the best and elite
