The Strike Team is a squad of State Certified Armed Security Enforcement Officers that are specially trained to work dangerous high security jobs. They may work alone, in pairs, or even as a squad (team techs) . They are trained as personal bodyguards, Celebrity protection, Gang activity concerns, and in anti-terrorist matters. Each Officer is highly trained and skilled with firearms, (required to report to the firing range every 30 days) Chemical sprays, batons and even tasers. Martial arts pressure point techs to prevent fighting with combative suspects. These Officers are medical first responder trained and certified to assist until EMTs arrive. They have group sensitivity training and diversity training. They are called Strike Team Leaders and each has his or her own call sign. Their conduct on or off duty must be of the highest caliber at all times. What one does reflects on all. Unlike other Security Officers they go to work looking to help people by protecting and serving anyone. Not waiting for a problem to react to. They are trained to call and work with any law enforcement that responds to an incident. They are taught to follow the directions of any law enforcement officer as if they are their supervisor when law enforcement arrives at a incident or crime scene.
They have formed a brotherhood among themselves that is strong and can not be broken. This is one of the most important factors of the Strike Team. Each member understands that each others life may depend on one another.
TSS never advertises who these Officers are for security reasons. But Strike Team Officers name tags have strike team in small print under their name.
